Simplify
Re-Launching to *almost* 4 million people

An Apple Podcasts feature from when Simplify was above The Daily in the charts :)
Good talks & great ideas
Caitlin Schiller is co-host of Simplify, a Webby-nominated author-interview show with over 3.5 million downloads, 80+ episodes, 8 seasons, and starting this fall, a central part of the Kollo Media portfolio.
Hi! Caitlin here. Question:
What did you love to do when you were a kid? Whatever it was, there’s probably a grown-up version of it that sees you at your happiest and best.
When I was little I loved to read and talk to strangers. I wanted to know what they knew about the world. And being the sensitive kid I was, I also wanted to make them feel good.
Simplify’s goals are similar. We (Ben, whom you know as Kollo Media’s founder and I know as my co-host and dear friend) wanted to make life a little better, to understand the world around us a little more deeply, by talking with smart, interesting people.
Simplify first launched as a branded podcast under the aegis of a company Ben and I once worked for. But now, 4 million-ish downloads later, Simplify belongs to us. We’ll be making some changes in this new, independent chapter, and I’m so excited.
We’ll still interview authors, but we’ll also bring you creators whose ideas go beyond books. Teed up so far are a scholar who can help us understand capitalism through the lens of myth, a relational therapist who wants you to get good and mad, and an investigative journalist who specializes in cults.
And we want you to be part of it, too.
Help shape the new era of Simplify by replying to this email and sending us an author, a thinker, or a teacher you want to hear.
For ideas about what kinds of people to suggest, there are 80ish episodes of inspiration you can cruise right now.
Looking forward to all the new conversations starting this fall! See you soon.
