Let's really look at the thing.
Hello from Kollo Media

Introducing Kollo Media
Kollo Media is a Berlin-based publisher building a portfolio of original and commercial audio-first products. In this newsletter, we’ll introduce Kollo Media’s approach and feature some of the people and ideas behind the shows, audiobooks, and projects that make up Kollo Media’s first batch of releases.

Looking At The Thing, with Ben Schuman-Stoler, Kollo Media Founder
In this space, we’ll show you what we’re making, why we’re making it, what impact it’s having, and leave some room for further reading and possibilities together. First, here’s Kollo Media founder Ben Schuman-Stoler.
I believe in looking at the thing, really holding it, being curious about it, examining it from all sides, trying to understand it. Being honest about it. I believe in working with people who want to look at the thing too.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with many of the countless millions out there looking at the thing. They’ve shown me that our lives - and our civilizations - are not meaningless. There is such a thing as significance. It matters how we practice and work together. It matters what we make.
So, to all the makers, listeners, seekers, buyers, sellers out there: We are not lost!
Essentially, Kollo Media is founded on this principle of looking at the thing: The way we spend our time is important.
What We’re About at Kollo Media
What do we want to spend our time doing then? It’s some combination of seeking, questing, poking, and experimenting. Together. Kollo Media is a space for:
Being curious about solutions for living in the future
Business with heart
History, civilization, and why it matters
Facilitating and exchanging between niches and themes
Vibe keywords like: attentive, intentional, alert, present, effective
And we’re actively looking for people inspired by the idea who want work together.
BBC Documentary Live Listening Party
Join Peter Matthews and Ben Schuman-Stoler for the live listening party of their BBC World Service Documentary on 17 July.
The evening is also a fundraiser for Kollo Media shows. Tickets are by donation, and we’re very grateful for all of your support and love. RSVP here if you’re interested in coming and we’ll send you more info.
