Announcing: BAD COUSINS + 1 Nov Launch Event

Hi all. My name is Matan and I’m standing in for Ben because he’s deep in the editing room, chopping and screwing episode one of BAD COUSINS, Kollo Media’s latest creation.

We’ve been working on this show for about a year now, since an article I wrote came out. The article was a product of a strange obsession I’d developed ever since the Abraham Accords were signed - an obsession with old man Abe and everything that he means for Jews, Muslims and others in the Middle East.

BAD COUSINS, produced together with Guli Dolev-Hashiloni who is also an accomplished writer and a LABA fellow (🌋), is about why sharing a granddad like Abe makes Jews and Arabs “kin”, and why that’s not necessarily a good thing.

We start from the current reality in the region, which is - I don’t need to tell you - pretty damn depressing, but with some wonderful guests we get deep into the Biblical mythology and all of its weird repercussions. I think it’s a good listen.
